Sorry for the neglect, dear readers. I've been revisiting some old favorites (like corned beef) and you can't really blog about the same thing twice. However, I feel the need to tell you about something amazing that showed up in my CSA this week:
The UFO peach! Also known as a "doughnut peach" (and probably other names as well). They are probably called UFO peaches because they're shaped like little flying saucers - or maybe because they're from outer space! They're a little lighter than regular peaches and very sweet. They are so yummy and delicious and locally grown. I think I'll go eat one right now....
More blogging to come.

We call them Saturn peaches because Saturn has rings and the peaches are like rings. I have had some. They were super sweet. I have not seen them at the local farmers markets since last month. Lucky you!! Enjoy one for me!
Yum. Of course, as per usual, there were no fabulous other-worldly peaches in my CSA this week...
The peaches over in Japan are out of this world, too. They are huge and delicious. Mmm. I really want a peach right now.
